The receptionist was very friendly, the pricing quite a bit over the top for the quality offered. Small room with hard to reach window, leaking marks on ceiling, further service was friendly. room so/so.

Inverness is a lovely place and ideally situated to go off and explore Loch Ness. The city itself has plenty to see and do with some lovely eating and drinking establishments.
The people were warm and friendly and it felt particularly safe when out walking at night.
We were there to take part in the Etape Loch Ness which is a cycling challenge around the entire Loch Ness and up in to the mountains.
It was perfectly organised and an event i'd thoroughly recommend doing.
The walks along the river and around the small islands on the river are really lovely and you are ideally placed for exploring the beautiful countryside that surrounds Inverness.. we will definitely be going back again.

Good shopping centre, great riverside walks, historic buildings ( we didn't get chance to visit) and visiting loch Ness, this is 20minute bus ride away, personally I would recommend viewing from the bus as the cruise was nice but not good value for money.

It's an amazing city!
It's an amazing city! It's so beautiful, not big and crowdy, but at the same time you can find so many things to do there.
There are lots of places for a nice walk: along the river Ness, city center, Caledonial canal, woods. Loch Ness is just 20 minutes drive, castles, beaches are all not far.
The Botanical garden is small but really nice and it's free!
I enjoyed to visit Eden Court every evening - to watch a cinema or for a concert.
There are lot of nice restaurants.
The Dolphin spirit boat trip was astonishing as well!
Really recommend to visit

Lots to see and do and some cute geocache trails.
Lots to see and do and some cute geocache trails. Botanical Gardens were lovely and free to use. We parked near the coach station and walked into town, reasonable prices and selection of shops was good.
It was my 3rd stay in waverley. The hotel is very well localised. From there is close to interesting points like a castle or tasty restaurants or finally beautiful path along river. Quality of rooms is adequate to prices. If you book the cheapest hotel in Inverness don't expect high standards. bathroom and my room were clean what is important for me. TV in the room.Always fresh
towels and bin bags on request. Staff nice and chatty. I recommend for people which want to travel, see beautiful Higlands and want to reduce costs of journey
This was probably our favourite place we've stayed in Scotland. It is an easy walk from the train station (Inverness is very walkable) and the apartment had everything we needed. There were lots of helpful notes around the apartment for the various things, a coffee machine (not a coffee drinker but others would find this amazing) and a washing machine. We did a reasonable amount of cooking and the apartment had all the utensils we needed. So cosy and the bed was huge.
Our favorite place we stayed during our 10 day Scotland trip by far. Beautiful home, great location, room and bathroom were beautifully decorated and large!! Our host, Joan, couldn’t have been nicer. She messaged us restaurants ahead of time and suggested making a reservation because they get so crowded, which we did and it was perfect! Could easily walk there and all around the town. Really great breakfast too with fruit even!! Perfect stay!
Such a good hotel. Our family group had all 3 of the rooms on the top floor. All were impressed with the very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom / showers. Great included breakfast and good atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The staff was friendly, accommodating and efficient. Also in a good location just a short walk to the city centre. The Heathmount would definitely be our #1 choice for staying in Inverness if we were to return.
Jamie and his familie were the best hosts we had so far on our Scotland tour.
Even us arriving later in the day was no problem.
We were welcomed super friendly (and Jamie even helped us take the bags to the room).
The rooms are super comfy and we got everything we needed.
The breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit, cereal and everything you might need.
If we return sometime soon to Inverness we would love to stay at Doric House again.
great little BnB, good location just off of the old town. A bit of a walk but not bad at all. check in process was so easy, they texted me the key code and had the room ready ahead of time. it was really nice to just walk in and unpack, take a short nap and head back into town. breakfast was pretty typical for BnBs in Scotland, good simple breakfast food both hot and cold. the ladies did a great job and were very pleasant.
Strathness House is a historic mansion located in the heart of Inverness, Scotland. It boasts a perfect location, within walking distance of the city center and its main attractions, such as Inverness Castle and the River Ness.
Our room offered stunning views of the river. We liked the hotel's excellent location, its friendly and helpful staff, the historical charm of the building and attention to detail in the decor.
The bed was so comfy, and more importantly the shower had been fixed from when I was staying in the same room only last week. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. Also, it's a delight to see classy biscuits on the tea tray which also allows for more than one cup of tea/coffee, instead of the usual cheap and easy style of other hotels I've visited so far in Inverness.
Our family of five stayed at Blackfriars for one evening on our 10 day road trip through Scotland. We knew we liked the photos we saw online, but what we saw in person was even better. Property is modern & clean..in a prime location for sightseeing and restaurants..and just an all around great place to stay in Inverness. We would definitely recommend Blackfriars :)
We were really pleased to find out that ‘pet-friendly’ is indeed VERY pet friendly.
On our round trip throughout Scotland we noticed many hotels allow dogs in the room. But Glen Mhor takes that to the next level by letting your furry buddy accompany you to the diner and breakfest.
Staff was also outstanding and friendly!
Everything!
After 15 different hotels in Scotland, some of which we far more expensive than this property, this one was sky high above the rest.
We will 100% be staying here again.
Thank you for an incredible stay, your true care for making sure we had a great stay & your efforts at breakfast!
AMAZING!!
Staff were so friendly when we arrived and welcoming to our dog.
We only stayed one night to break our journey home from the north of Scotland and the hotel was perfect for this.
Also the bathroom was huge with a great shower over a bath which I needed to wash my dogs legs when he had been for a walk😊
It was very comfortable and relaxing. Two private bedrooms, bathroom and sitting room. Plenty of room for luggage. Karen is a wonderful hostess. The food she prepared was delicous and she offered the opportunity to try new things. Her knowledge of Scotland and tips of places to see was very helpful.
Food was amazing. One of the best meals my wife and I have had in our lives and we tried many of the top restaurants in our 2 week trip to Scotland. Chef perfected every single dish he made. Hotel location was awesome and private, vibe of the staff was perfect, helpful, kind, genuine.
The room was comfortable and quite spacious. A good place to start our journey through the North of Scotland. The shower was warm and the bathroom was very clean. For the budget price, the room was good and the staff really friendly. Super easy to get into central Inverness too.
This booking was the best we've had out of the 5 locations during our one week trip to Scotland. Amazing location, big room, amazing staff, great breakfast. Really close to the city center (5 mins of walking). We would come here again for sure.
The shower water pressure was the best we had during our 8-day road-trip through Scotland. The location is also very central, so you can look forward to ditching your car in the private garage and walking for the rest of your stay.
This place was amazing. Wonderful host, great location, great food. It is the perfect place for anyone exploring the Scotland Highlands in and around Inverness and Loch Ness. Can’t say enough. This was a great little hotel.
Nothing.it is the worst experience of our lives. This hotel should be reported to the health board. As it is the dirtiest Hotel in inverness.if not scotland.
